Sarah Gastineau, 21, does a cartwheel near Main Street in Cedar Falls.
During her three and a half years as a student at UNI, she has enjoyed many trips to Main Street. She continues to explore the area's variety of restaurants, bars and shops as she still lives in Cedar Falls and works less than a five minute walk away from here. "Main Street gives the opportunity to show my family and friends from high school who visit that Cedar Falls has fun places. Although it’s small, it makes me excited for the future. I cannot wait to experience a city that has a larger main street/downtown area for me to explore," says Gastineau.
Sarah Gastineau, 21, explores the train tracks in Cedar Falls.
These train tracks are located near a trail that Gastineau likes to visit. Because she works a full time desk job, she understands the importance of staying active and moving the body regularly. She also enjoys being outdoors. According to Gastineau, "the train tracks can represent motion of trains and me needing to be active. After a long day my body may crave the gym or be tired, but I have never regretted getting out in nature or working out."
